Charlie Cunningham has quietly become one of the UK’s most compelling and under-the-radar songwriters. Splitting his time between piano and nylon-string guitar, his melancholic yet rhythmically driven songs have seen him grace many of Europe’s most prestigious concert halls. Despite struggling with dyslexia and finding it nearly impossible to read music, Charlie earned a music degree and spent his mid-20s juggling odd jobs while writing songs in his spare time. A formative move to Seville — intended as a three-month stay but stretching into three years — immersed him deeply in Flamenco, refining his guitar style and shaping the distinctive sound he’s known for today.
